Summary / Abstract :

It is a truism that all wars come to an end, even in Indochina But the Third Indochina war show no sign of termination after five dry or compaigning seasons since the Vietnamese invasion of Kampuchea in December 1978. Although Vietnam's occupation has been subject to insurgent harrassment rather than full-blooded military challenge, the pattern of recurrent fighting from November to May along the Thai-Kampuchean border has not been broken.
