Summary / Abstract :

Rice production in Cambodia grew substantially during the 1982-83 crop year. Ministry of Agriculture figures show that total paddy output (including a minor crop in August in Addition to the December 1982 February 1983 main crop) came to 1.7 miliion tonnes, an increase of nearly 31% over the 1.4 million tonnes reaped in 1981-1982.
