Summary / Abstract :
|
China yesterday called for Vietnam's unconditional withdrawal from Kampuchea as Sino-Soviet talks began in Moscow. A five point proposal issued by the Foreign Ministry in Peking would allow Hanoi to withdraw its troops by stages but insists that it must accept the principle of an unconditional withdrawal. There are an estimated 160,000 Vietnamese troops in Kampuchea.
