Preap Kim Sorn aka Mann, commander of Battalion, Division 920, confessed that Khem, Chief of Group of Battalion 912, Division 920, was assigned as his bodyguard and responsible to contact a Vietnamese, Thanh in order to ask for military assistance in preparing to fight back the Kampuchean revolution in the future. In August 1976, Mann appointed Khem as network of the Free Khmer so as to get ready to attack an anti-party activity.
ឈ្មោះ ព្រាប គឹមស៊ន ហៅ ម៉ាន់ បញ្ជាការវរសេនាតូច កងពល ៩២០ បានឆ្លើយថា ឈ្មោះ ខេម ប្រធានក្រុមវរសេនាតូច ៩១២ កងពល ៩២០ បានធ្វើជាកងការពារជូនខ្លួនទៅទាក់ទងជាមួយ វៀតណាមឈ្មោះថាញ់ដើម្បីសុំអាវុធយកមកទុកវាយបដិវត្ដកម្ពុជា ទៅថ្ងៃមុខ។ ខែ៨ ១៩៧៦ ម៉ាន់បានបញ្ចូលខេមទៅក្នុងអង្គការ ខ្មែរសេរីសម្រាប់ធ្វើសកម្មភាពប្រឆាំងនឹងបក្ស។
