SRI0039 20061022, Chrey Khang Cheung village, Kien Sangke sub-district, Sotr Nikum district, Siem Reap province. Interviewed by Chhay Naroeun. Notes: Interviewed with his older sister named Uy Tem, 65. Tem said that Rann joined the Khmer Rouge with his brothers Rem and Roeun in 1970. In 1973, the Angkar chose him to be a soldier. Then he was sent to a battalfield near Phnom Penh. In 1975, he visited home for five days. Since he left home that year, he disappeared.
អេសអាយ០០៣៩ ២០០៦១០២២ ភូមិជៃ្រខាងជើង ឃុំ កៀនសង្កែ ស្រុកសូទ្រនិគម ខេត្តសៀមរាប។ សម្ភាសដោយៈ ឆាយ ណារឿន។ កំណត់សំគាល់ៈ សម្ភាសជាមួយបងស្រី អ៊ុយ តែម អាយុ៦៤ឆ្នាំ។ តែម បាននិយាយថា រ៉ាន់ បានចូលធ្វើ ជាខែ្មរក្រហមជាមួយបងប្រុស២នាក់របស់គាត់ឈ្មោះ រ៉ែម និង រឿន នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ អង្គការបានជ្រើសរើស គាត់ឱ្យធ្វើទាហាន។ បន្ទាប់មកគេបានបញ្ជូនគាត់ទៅសមរភូមិជិត ភ្នំពេញ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ គាត់បានមកលេងផ្ទះរយៈពេល៥ថៃ្ង។ ចាប់តាំងពីគាត់ចាកចេញពីផ្ទះនៅឆ្នាំនោះ គាត់បាត់ខ្លួនរហូត។
