Summary / Abstract :

Lon Nol, 72, the American-backed Cambodian general who deposed Prinice Norodom Sihanouk in 1970 and was overthrown by communist forces in 1975, died here sunday. He died in a hospital in Fullerton, where he had lived since 1979. He had been partly paralyzed following a stroke in 1971 and probably died of heart trouble said his son, Lon Rith.
