Sokh said that first he was sent to be trained military for four months at Choy Lngan. Then he was transferred to Kampong Cham near Phnom Pros Phnom Srey. In 1975, he was sent to do farming in Phnom Penh. In early 1977, he was moved to work in Kampong Chhnang airport. In 1979, he returned home. In 1981, he got married to his wife.
