These newly arrived soldiers have disguised themselves as troops of the Phnom Penh army by vearing the uniforms of the puppet army. 300 of those Vietnamese soldiers were sent to keep town along the sea coast and then to an area south of Phnom Voar hill in Kampot province Kampot district. The other 400 were sent to Kampot and later on to the area west of the hill.
