Yim Proeung, working in battalion 71, state warehouse at Kilometer 6, confessed that he knew Than had betrayed the party since 1973. Than led the troops to work on the mine planted by the enemy in Kampong Thom battlefield. At that time, there were 25 troops injured. In April 1975, Than received a plot from Muoy, living in Phnom Penh.
យឹម ព្រឿង ភស្ដុភារវរសេនាតូច៧១ ឃ្លាំងរដ្ឋគីឡូលេខ៦ បាន និយាយថា ខ្លួនដឹងថា ថន ក្បត់តាំងពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣មេ្លះ។ ថន បាន ដឹកនាំទ័ពទៅជាន់មីនខ្មាំងនៅសមរភូមិកំពង់ធំ ខូចកម្លាំងអស់ ២៥នាក់។ ខែ៤ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ថន បានចូលប្រជុំទទួលផែនការ ក្បត់ពីមួយនៅភ្នំពេញ។
