Chhoeun Dy's father name called Chhoeun and mother name called Nhek Sarin. There were 8 family members in Dy's family including 2 brothers and 6 sisters. In 1970, my family members moved to Phnom Penh because of having bombing. In 1975, Dy studied at Grade 2. In the Khmer Rouge's regime, the Angkar evacuated Dy's family members to live and work in Kratie province. At that time, Dy worked in children unit in which there were between 12 and 20 children. In 1977, I was assigned to work in mobile unit to do farming and to collect sugar canes. In 1979, I retured to live in homeland at Kampong Cham province until today.
ឈឿន ឌី មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ ឈឿន និងម្តាយឈ្មោះ ញឹក សារិន។ ឌី មានសមាជិកគ្រួសារចំនួន៨នាក់ ប្រុស២នាក់ និងស្រី៦នាក់។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ គ្រួសារខ្ញុំផ្លាស់ទៅរស់នៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ព្រោះដោយសារគ្រាប់បែក។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ឌី បានចូលរៀនបានដល់ថ្នាក់ទី២។ ចូលក្នុងរបបខ្មែរក្រហម អង្គការជម្លៀសគ្រួសារ ឌី ឲ្យមករស់នៅខេត្តក្រចេះ។ ចំណែក ឌី ចូលក្នុងកងកុមារដែលមានគ្នាពី១២-២០នាក់។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ខ្ញុំត្រូវចូលក្នុងកងចល័ត ចូលធ្វើស្រែ កាប់អំពៅ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ខ្ញុំបានវិលត្រឡប់មករស់នៅក្នុងស្រុកកំណើត ខេត្តកំពង់ចាមដល់សព្វថ្ងៃ។
