Sao Naim, male, is 52 years old. He lives in Wat Chhass village, Malai sub-district, Malai district, Batambang Province. Naim was born in Smach Den sub-district, Prey Num district, Kampot province (currently Kampong Som province). Naim has three siblings. His father was named Ngot Phann and his mother was named Sim. Naim studied until grade 10 of the old system. Later, he quit school because he was busy helping his parents in the fields.
In 1975, when the Vietnamese troops entered Cambodia, Naim was sent to work in the mobile work brigade, digging canals in Prey Nop. In 1979, Naim fled to the Northwest Zone, passing Lem and Kamreang. Naim joined the Khmer Rouge soldiers at Kamreang district, Batambang province. He then moved to Malai. In 1984, the Vietnamese troops fought at the Cambodia-Thailand border. The fight reached Malai in 1985. The Khmer Rouge evacuated the women and children to the T-85 camp in Thailand at that time. Naim married a woman who worked in the transportation unit in Malai in 1985. In 1987, Naim returned to Malai in order to fight Vietnam. សៅ ណាំ ភេទប្រុស អាយុ៥២ឆ្នាំ រស់នៅភូមិវត្ដចាស់ ឃុំម៉ាឡៃ ស្រុកម៉ាឡៃ ខេត្ដ បន្ទាយមានជ័យ។ ណាំ មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅឃុំ ស្មាច់ដែន ស្រុកពៃ្រនប់ ខេត្ដកំពត(បច្ចុប្បន្ន) ខេត្ដព្រះសីហនុ។ ណាំ មានបងប្អូន៣នាក់មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ ង៉ោត ផាន់ និង ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ស៊ីម។ ណាំ រៀនបានត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី១១ ហើយក្រោយមកគាត់បាន ឈប់ដោយសាររវល់ជួយធ្វើស្រែឪពុក ម្ដាយ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ពេលវៀតណាមចូលមក ណាំ ត្រូវបានបញ្ជូនទៅធ្វើការនៅកង ចល័តជីក ប្រឡាយនៅពៃ្រនប់។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ណាំ បានភៀសខ្លួន ទៅកាន់ភូមិភាគពាយ័ព្យកាត់តាមឡែម និងកំរៀង។ នៅទីនោះ ណាំ បានចូលធ្វើទ័ពជាមួយខែ្មរក្រហមនៅស្រុកកំរៀង ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង ហើយបានផ្លាស់មកនៅម៉ាឡៃ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៤ ទាហាន វៀតណាមបានចូលមកច្បាំងនៅតាមបណេ្ដាយព្រំ ដែនកម្ពុជាថៃ ហើយបន្ដរហូតដល់ឆ្នាំ១៩៨៥ចូលមកដល់តំបន់ម៉ាឡៃ។ នៅពេល នោះខែ្មរក្រហម បានជម្លៀស នារីនិងកុមារឱ្យទៅនៅជំរំថ៨៥ នៅក្នុងទឹកដីថៃ។ គាត់បានរៀបការជាមួយនារីដឹកជញ្ជូននៅឯជំរំ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៥។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៨៧ ណាំ បានត្រលប់មកម៉ាឡៃដើម្បី ច្បាំងជាមួយវៀត ណាម។
