Summary

Khim Buntho, male, 68 years old and lives in Daung village, Malai commune, Malai district, Banteay Meanchey province. Buntho was born in Ta Roung village, Sa-ang commune, Sa-ang district, Kandal province. Buntho៌s father៌s name is Khim Thanh and his mother is Thaong Kris. Buntho did not go to school and his grand mother sent him to stay and study with a monk in Sa-ang Sre pagoda when he was young.
In 1973, Buntho joined the KR revolution and he was a militiaman and later he was sent to special division 11. Ta Saom was a chief of the division. Buntho was injured and broken his leg when his unit fought against Lon Nol soldiers.
When the KR got victory over the Lon Nol in 1975, Buntho was sent to disable unit. In 1976 Buntho was sent to work as medical staff at Preah Ketomealea Hospital. Baing was ahead of the hospital and then, he was moved to Mony Vong Hospital. Both hospitals received only patients who were KR soldiers. Later, Buntho was moved to economic unit of the KR Air force division 502. Met was division៌s chief. Sometime, Buntho was ordered to find food for the unit.
In 1977, Buntho married to an economic lady. When the Vietnamese arrived in Phnom Penh in 1979, Buntho and other people fled to Malai through Oddong. However his wife fled by another road. When Buntho arrived in Ba-Vil district he saw a pond with many dead bodied. When got in Malai, he was in cooking unit of the KR soldiers who resisted and fought against Vietnamese.
