Summary
|
Khieu Rong female, 47 years old and lives in Kandal village, Malai commune, Malai district, Banteay Meanchey province. Rong was born in Kraing Chheuteal village, Daung commune Baty district, Takeo province. In 1975, Rong was 10 years old and lived with her mother who worked in a mobile brigade unit. In 1977, Rong was sent to Children Unit and 10 day later, she was continually sent to Lathing Factory at Km 6 in Phnom Penh until the Vietnamese arrived in Cambodian in early January 1979. Rong and other workers in the factory fled to Battambang province. Rong continued with other people to Pailin and then to Malai. When Rong was in Malai, she stayed with Nim family. Nim was a chief of a battalion and his family has no children and Nim liked Rong as his children. In 1985, when Vietnamese arrived Cambodia-Thailand border, Rong and other KR fled into Thailand territory. Rong returned Malai in 1990
