During studying in Russia in 1966, Mel Sovan aka Nup, servant in Royal Palace, was indoctrinated by Ieng Seiha, Hakk Sieng Lay Ny, Krin Lean, Tann Chhai Heng, and Hai Kimseang to recognize Russia regime and join the K.G.B. In 1970, Sovan served in activities of fighting to get the Kampuchea People' s authority with network based on the Russian plan.
ឈ្មោះ ម៉ិល សុវណ្ណ ហៅ នប់ បំរើភ្ញៀវនៅវាំង បានទទួលការ អប់រំពីឈ្មោះ អៀង សីហា, ហាក់ សៀង ឡាយនី, គ្រិនលាន, តាន់ ឆៃហេង និង ហៃ គិមស៊ាង កាលនៅសូវៀតឱ្យស្រឡាញ់របប សូវៀត និងចូលអង្គការកាហេ្សបេនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៦។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ សុវណ្ណ បានធ្វើសកម្មភាពដណើ្ដមរដ្ឋអំណាចពីប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ជាមួយបក្សពួកតាមផែនការរបស់សូវៀត។
