Meakh Yim aka Vann, Assistant to Regiment 91, Division 920, was born in Ampil village, Ampil sub-district, Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province. From 1957 to 1970, he studied in private school, and then stopped studying and helped his parents with farming. At that time, he was detained because of being involved in woman's accusation. After leaving the prison, he was married and worked as building worker and Cyclo driver. After that, he worked as worker of Chup rubber plantation. Next, he divorced from his wife, and got married to a widow-wife, who had two children; moreover, he joinedthe revolution in 1970. In 1977, he worked as Assistant to Regiment 91, Division 920, under the control of Chhin, Say, and Yean [They were arrested].
ឈ្មោះ មាស យីម ហៅ វ៉ាន់ ជំនួយការវរសេនាធំ ៩១ កងពល ៩២០ កើតនៅភូមិអំពិល ឃុំអំពិល ស្រុកកំពង់សៀម ខេត្ដ កំពង់ចាម។ ចាប់ពីឆ្នាំ ១៩៥៧-១៩៧០ រៀននៅសាលាឈ្នួល ក្រោយមកឈប់រៀន ទៅធ្វើស្រែជាមួយ«ពុកម្ដាយ។ បន្ទាប់មក ជាប់គុកដោយមនុស្សស្រីចោទប្រកាន់។ ពេលចេញពីគុក ការប្រពន្ធ ហើយប្រកបរបរធ្វើកម្មករសំណង់ និងធាក់ស៊ីក្លូ។ បន្ទាប់មកទៀត ធ្វើកម្មករចំការកៅស៊ូជប់។ ក្រោយមកលែងប្រពន្ធ ហើយរៀប ការជាមួយមេម៉ាយកូន ២ និងចូលបដិវត្ដនៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧០។ នៅ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ នាទីជំនួយការវរសេនាធំ ៩១ កងពល ៩២០ និងអ្នក ទទួលខុសត្រូវគឺឈ្មោះ ឈិន, សយ និង យាន «ចាប់ខ្លួនហើយ»។
