Srey Chhoeung, male, 60 years old, lives in Koh Ker village, Srayang commune, Koulen district, Preah Vihear province
Chhoeung៌s father is Srey Um, and his mother is Meakh Sean. He has three brothers and two sisters. Chhoeung studied to grade 10 (old system) when he was young.
In 1969, he was forced to become a Lon Nol soldier in Koulen district. He was with the Lon Nol soldiers only one week before fleeing to Tbeng Mountain. In 1970 the Vietnamese (Vietcong) entered Koulen district, and Chhoeung joined as militia in his village. After the Vietcong withdrew from Koulen district, Chhoeung joined Ta Hang៌s messenger team. He was an elephant keeper for Ta Hang. Sometimes Ta Hang ordered him to take letters from the office of region 103 to be delivered to other districts within the region. Chhoeung also used to take letters to an office of Kang Chap, aka Se, in Siem Reap province. One day, Chhoeung got angry with an elephant and cut out the elephant៌s tail. When Ta Hang learned about this, he was very angry and ordered his soldiers to kill him. However, Chhoeung escaped death because the elephants obeyed only Chhoeung himself
In 1977, Chhoeung married Chet Hom at Sen Kung village, Koulen district. He served in Ta Hang៌s office until 1978. When the KR arrested Ta Hang, Chhoeung fled to Chhep district and hid until the Vietnamese entered Cambodia in 1979.
In 1979, Chhoeung returned to livee with his family in Sen Kung village, Koulen district and worked in the rice fields. He moved to live in Koh Ker again when the KR integrated with the Cambodian government in 1999.

នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៩ ឈឿង ត្រូវបានបង្ខំឱ្យធ្វើទាហាន លន់ នល់ នៅស្រុកគូលែន។ បន្ទាប់ពីធ្វើទាហាន លន់ នល់ បានរយៈពេល មួយសបា្ដហ៍ ឈឿង ក៏បានរត់គេចឡើងលើភ្នំត្បែង។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧០ កងទ័ពវៀតកុងបានចូលមកដល់ស្រុកគូលែន។ នៅខណៈ ពេលនោះ ឈឿង បានស្ម័គ្រ ចិត្ដចូលធ្វើកងឈ្លបភូមិសែនគង់។ បន្ទាប់ពីវៀតកុងបានដកចេញពីស្រុកគូលែន ឈឿង បានចូលមក ធ្វើការនៅក្នុងក្រុមជានិរសារបស់ ហង្ស គណៈតំបន់ព្រះវិហារ។ ពេលនោះ ឈឿង ជាម៉ដំរីឱ្យ តា ហង្ស។ ពេលខ្លះតាហង្ស បានប្រើឱ្យយកសំបុត្រពីមន្ទីរតំបន់ ទៅឱ្យតាមស្រុកនៅក្នុងតំបន់ព្រះ វិហារ។ ឈឿង បានប្រាប់ថា គាត់ធ្លាប់យកសំបុត្រពីមន្ទីរតំបន់ទៅឱ្យ តាសែ នៅមន្ទីរភូមិភាគឧត្ដរនៅសៀមរាប។ នៅថៃ្ងមួយ តា ហង្ស បានខឹង ឈឿង យ៉ាងខ្លាំង ដោយសារ ឈឿង បានកាត់ កន្ទុយដំរី។ តាហង្ស បានបញ្ជាឱ្យកងទ័ពយក ឈឿង ទៅបាញ់ ចោល។ ទោះជាយ៉ាងក៏ដោយ ឈឿង បានរួចផុតពីសេចក្ដីស្លាប់ ដោយសារដំរីមិនស្ដាប់បង្គាប់អ្នកផេ្សងក្រៅពី ឈឿង។
នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ឈឿង បានរៀបការជាមួយ ជេត ហំ នៅភូមិ សែនគង់ ស្រុកគូលែន។ នៅពេលដែល តាហង្សត្រូវចាប់ខ្លួននៅ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨ ឈឿង បានរត់គេចខ្លួនទៅរស់នៅក្នុងស្រុកឆែប។
នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ឈឿង បានត្រឡប់មករស់នៅជាមួយក្រុមគ្រួសារ នៅក្នុងភូមិសែនគង់ និងធ្វើស្រែ ចំការ។ ឈឿង បានផ្លាស់មក រស់នៅក្នុងភូមិកោះកែរវិញបន្ទាប់ពីខែ្មរក្រហមបានធ្វើ សមាហរណកម្ម ជាមួយរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៩៩។
