On the night of 15 April, Premier Long Boreth called for the advice from international press agency and other foreign officials to give advice on how to solve the coming disaster. He spent the whole night without sleeping writing message to Prince Sihanouk in Peking but, there was no reply. Long Boreth was like Siri Matak, who refuted to flee abroad. They were willing to admit that they had lost a war but not their honor.
នៅពេលយប់ នាថ្ងៃទី១៥ មេសា លោកនាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រី ឡុង បូរ៉េត បានអំពាចនាវរកដំបូន្មានពីភ្នាក់ងារសារព័ត៌មានអន្ដរជាតិ និងមន្ដ្រីភ្នាក់ងារបរទេសផេ្សងៗទៀត ដើម្បីផ្ដល់យោបល់ទូន្មានលើបព្ហាាកំពុងកើតមានឡើង។ ឡុង បូរ៉េត បានចំណាយពេលចេញមួយយប់សរសេរសារជូនទៅកាន់សមេ្ដច សីហនុ នៅឯទីក្រុងប៉េកាំង ប៉ុន្ដែគ្មានការឆ្លើយតប។ ឡុង បូរ៉េត គឺមានវាសនាដូច សិរីមតៈ អ្នកដែលបានបដិសេធក្នុងការភៀសខ្លួនទៅក្រៅប្រទេស។ ពួកគេ (ឡុង បូរ៉េត) នឹងចូលមកសារភាពថា ពួកគេបានចាញ់សង្គ្រាម។។
