Tim Thean, male, 56 years old and lives in Trapeang Prasat village, Trapeang Prasat commune, Trapeang Prasat district, Oddar Meanchey province. Thean was born in Prey Daung village, Kampong Svay commune, Kien Svay district, Kandal province.
Thean volunteered to join the KR movement in February in 1973. First, Thean was in District 16. Phal was a chief of the district. In late 1974, the KR sent Thean to Division 11 of Special Zone. Ta Saom was a chief of the Division. In January 1976, the KR sent Thean to Ratanak Kiri and joined with Division 801. There, Thean was in Regiment 82. Ta Chhan was a chief of the Regiment. When the Vietnamese arrived in Cambodia in January 1979, Thean fled Cambodia- Thailand and climbed Dangrek Mountain. Thean was at KR military Base [1001]. In 1985, Thean moved to Dang Tung, Chang Ka. It៌s were in Thailand territory and then Thean was sent to operate in Santuk, Sandan, Kampong Svay districts of Kampong Thom province . Currently, Thean is a retirement soldier and he works in his farm. |
