Khong Norn, female, 54 years and lives in Banteay Chass village Preah Pralay commune, Trapeang Prasat district, Oddar Meanchey province. Norn has four children. Norn is a farmer.
Norn was born in Khvav village and commune, Chi Kreng district, Siem Reap province. Norn៌s father is Khong Rim (died during Lon Nol regime); and her mother, Hiep Un, she died in 1999. Norn has one younger sister, Khong Y. She now lives in her home village.
Norn was in child unit and the KR forced her to cut small grass to produce fertilizer during the KR regime between 1975 and 1979. The KR also assigned her mother to work at kitchen hall. After the KR collapsed in 1979, Norn lived in her home village and Norn often took Prahok, dry fish to sell for the KR in a forest within Chi Kreng district because her living condition was very poor.
In 1987, Norn ran into forest and joined with the KR because she afraid the PRK arrested and imprisoned her, and then Norn went to Choam Sla, Thailand territory with In Hoeun who was a chief of Division 612. Also in 1987, Norn married to a KR soldier of Division 612. In 1990, Norn went down to live in Chup Run and she started to grow rice for her family. In 1993, the KR sent her family to O-Chik, Anlong Veng district. After the KR integrated with the Cambodian government in 1998, Nor moved to live in Banteay Chass village.
