Phouk Moeun, female, 57 years old and lives in Sen Sokh village, Tomnop Dach commune, Trapeang Prasat district, Oddar Meanchey province. Moeun has four sons and one daughter. Moeun is a farmer.
Moeun was born in Rokar Chour village, Kheng commune, Sandan district, Kampong Thom province. Moeun did not go to school when she was young. When the KR gained power in 1975, Moeun was forced to Mobile Brigade Unit. The KR assigned Moeun to work in rice field, carried earth, ditched canal. [Ta] Kan and [Ta] Sok were chief and deputy chief of Sandan district. When Vietnamese arrived in Cambodia in 1979, Moeun fled into forest along with other people because the KR told that she would be killed by cutting stomach and put into grass if the Vietnamese arrested. Moeun was in Ampil of Oddar Meanchey province for a short period, and then she climbed up Dangrek Mountain near O-Smach border checkpoint. In 1980, Mouen married to her husband at the KR military base [1002] near An Seh. After the marriage, Moeun joined a KR division 612. |
