I am Try Ngech Leang, a female, currently living in Prek Po Village, Toek Vil Commune, Sa-ang District, Kandal Province. I would like to file a complaint against the detention of my elder brother, Khoeung Muoy Soar, in Tuol Sleng Prison.
About 1972 or 1973, my elder brother volunteered to join the army. We didn’t receive contact from him until 1975, when he visited home for the first time. My mother was sick when he visited, so he stayed for a full day. Before he left, he told me that he would send medicine. About a week later, his messenger brought medicine to my mother. I didn’t know the messenger’s name. Since then, my elder brother has never returned. Only when the Documentation Center of Cambodia gave me my elder brother’s biography did I learn that he was detained in Tuol Sleng Prison. I think he is dead. |
