Katt El is PTSD victim. She has many children, but did not know how many. Her husband died in the Khmer Rouge regime. Recently, she feels that the event is happening again. She finds it is diffcult in concentrating. She has trouble with sleeping. She feels on guard. She feels as if she does not have a future. She finds it is difficult in performing her daily tasks. She balmes herself for things that have happened. She feels guilty for being survived. She feels ashamed of the hurtful events. She spends time thinking about why these events happened to her. She feels that she is the only one who suffered from the event.
ខាត់ អែលមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់មានកូនច្រើននាក់ប៉ុនែ្ដមិនដឹងប៉ុន្មាននាក់ទេ។ ប្ដីរបស់គាត់ស្លាប់នៅជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហម។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដែលគួរអោយឈឺចាប់កើតឡើងជាថ្មី។ គាត់ពិបាកក្នុងការផ្ចង់គំនិត។ គាត់ពិបាកក្នុងការទទួលទានដំណេក។ មានអារម្មណ៍ប្រុងខ្លួនជានិច្ច។ មានអារម្មណ៍ដូចជាគ្មានអនាគត។ មានការលំបាកក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារប្រចាំថៃ្ង។ ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងរឿងដែលបានកើតឡើង។ គាត់បន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងក្នុងការរស់រានមានជីវិត។ គាត់ចំណាយពេលគិតហេតុរឿងទាំងអស់កើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាមានតែគាត់ម្នាក់ទេដែលទទួលរងការឈឺចាប់ទាំងនេះ។
