Summary / Abstract :
Under of impact of the Vietnamese revolution and the US war in Indochina, a deep class polarization began to develop in Kampuchea in the 1960. In an effort to keep the Kampuchean workers and peasants under control, Sihanouk brought several prominent pro-stalinist intellectuals into his cobiret in 1962. These included Khien Samphan and Hou Youn.
