Vietnamese troops were assaupting Cambodian defenders dug into the famous temple ruins of Preah Vihear, an 11th century. The defenders at the base of the craggy temple ruins, with a magnificent stairway and gates are second in important only to the ruins of the Royal city of Angkor.
