Hang Pheun joined the CIA in 1970 and was arrested by the Angkar on December 31, 1975. Hang Pheun confessed that Riel Pech joined the CIA in 1970 with Lach Hai, CIA introducer, and Khuon Kandien, CIA acceptor respectively. Khuon Kandien hatched plots for Pech to convince workers to love the liberal regime. After April 17, 1975, Pech conducted CIA activities within the group of Hao Thouren and Hang Pheun by criticizing the revolutionary Angkar.
ឈ្មោះ ហង់ ភឺន ចូលសេអ៊ីអានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួន នៅថ្ងៃ៣១-១២-១៩៧៥ បានឆ្លើយសារភាពពីឈ្មោះ រៀល ប៉ិច ថាៈ បានចូលសេអ៊ីអានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ អ្នកនាំចូល ឡាច ហៃ អ្នកទទួលស្គាល់ ឃួន កណ្ឌៀន។ ឃួន កណ្ឌៀន ដាក់ផែនការឱ្យ ប៉ិច អប់រំកម្មករឱ្យស្រឡាញ់របបសេរី។ ក្រោយ១៧-៤-១៩៧៥ ប៉ិច ធ្វើសកម្មភាពសេអ៊ីអាក្នុងក្រុម ហោ ធូរេន និង ហង់ ភឺន ដោយឃោសនាវាយប្រហារអង្គការបដិវត្ដ។
