Hakk Yan aka Chham, 355, was a soldier of Water Transport, Phnom Penh. Yan passed a diploma in 1963. In 1964, he passed an examination to be an agricultural agent. In June 1970, Yan joined the revolution in District Office at Tbaung Krapeu with Chhum, secretary of Kampong Svay District, being an acceptor. Hakk Yan was a messenger of Chhum, Lun, Sen and Phang. After that, he served as a group chief of military district where Keng was a deputy secretary of district. In 1976, Yan was transferred to build road in Kampot and then a member of lathe section in Phnom Penh. In 1977, Yan was a assistant of lathe technique. At the time when he had worked as a messenger, he drove a motor. Suddenly, a helicopter saw him and opened fire near a village. When he transported something, he did not think ofsecurity.
ឈ្មោះ ហាក់ យ៉ាន ហៅ ឆាំ អាយុ ៣៥ ឆ្នាំ យុទ្ធជនដឹកជញ្ជូន ជើងទឹកភ្នំពេញ។ យ៉ាន ប្រឡងជាប់ឌីប្លូមនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៣។ ១៩៦៤ ប្រឡងជាប់ភ្នាក់ងារកសិកម្ម។ បន្ទាប់មកនៅខែ៦-១៩៧០ យ៉ន ចូលបដិវត្ដនៅមន្ទីរស្រុកត្រង់ត្បូងក្រពើ អ្នកទទួលយកឈ្មោះឈុំ លេខាស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយ។ ហាក់ យ៉ាន ជានីរសារបស់ឈ្មោះឈុំ, លន់, សែន និង ផង់។ ក្រោយមកធ្វើជាយោធាស្រុកមាននាទី ប្រធានក្រុមហើយឈ្មោះកេង អនុលេខាស្រុក។ ១៩៧៦ យ៉ាន ទៅធ្វើផ្លូវនៅកំពត ក្រោយមកជាសមាជិកជួសជុលខាងក្រឡឹងនៅ ភ្នំពេញ។ ១៩៧៧ យ៉ាន ជាយុទ្ធជនជំនួយការបចេ្ចកទេសក្រឡឹង។ កាលពីធ្វើជានីរសាបានជិះម៉ូតូឱ្យយន្ដហោះទ្រុងជ្រូកឃើញបានបាញ់ ទៅក្បែរៗភូមិប្រជាជន ហើយពេលដឹកជញ្ជូនមិនសូវគិតគូការពារ កម្លាំងទេ។
