A Vietnamese refugee boat floundering in waves 350 miles ant of Ho Chi Minh city, was rescuted early by the USS Beanfort, a salvage ship of the seventh fleet. The boat which had 20 passengers, was the sixth rescued under carter's dèrective to the Navy to pick up boat people.
