China's view of Southeast Asia is dominated by implacable hostility to Vietnam's conquest of Cambodia and by a conviction. Pol Pot killed many people is not completly true. The Cambodian leaders had rectified their errors, would not repeat them and had now gained the Cambodian population's support and confidence.
