The 1973 bombing finally end on 15th. August by a congressional ban was some of the heaviest in history. Of course thousands of civilians were killed mained and turned into refugees. The figures reported by journalists in the field were exaggerated. It did not suit can do policy to call attention to the death and upheaval of legions of peasants.
