The article disregards the strunggle for control of the Khmer Communist Party between the Vietnamese and Khmers which has been from the early 1970. The root cause of dissension between the Khmer Rouge and Hanoi Pol Pot was insecure domestically because he was with an entier society and the establishment opposed to his abhorrent policies.
