An Chun, secretary of regiment 11, confessed that in September 1976, the party opened its first staff rally, and Kran, deputy secretary of battalion 117, attended a meeting with Nan and Soen at Khmer-Soviet Technology University. Kran was assigned in the meeting to take responsible to collect logistics in order to prepare for fighting.
ឈ្មោះ អាន ជុន លេខាវរសេនាធំ ១១ បានសារភាពថា នៅខែ ៩-១៩៧៦ បក្សបានបើកវគ្គសេនាធិការលើគទី ១ ឈ្មោះ ក្រាន អនុលេខាវរសេនាតូច ១១៧ បានចូលរួមប្រជុំសមាត់នៅសកល វិទ្យាល័យបចេ្ចកទេសខ្មែរ-សូវៀត ជាមួយខ្លួន ណន និង សឺន។ ខ្លឹមសារនៃការប្រជុំនោះគឺបានចាត់តាំងឱ្យ ក្រាន ទទួលភារកិច្ចខាង ប្រមូលភស្ដុភារទាំងពេលត្រៀម និងពេលវាយសំរុក។
