Thousands of political prisoners held without trial in Kampuchea have been tortured in recent years, with some confined in " coffin-like " cells and underground chambers, according to a report by Amnesty International. The International human rights organization changed that political prisoners were bring detained and tortured by both personnel of the Phnom Penh Government of Heng Samrin and Vietnam in centre throughout the country.
