Despite Vietnamese's routine claims of solidarity with the Soviet Union, Hanoi is relationship with Moscow are be coming increasingly stained. The tension which has always existed just under the surface of this unequal relationship has been exacerbated in recent months by a dispute over the Soviet said to Vietnam and most important, by creased Soviet pressure on Vietnam to seek a rapid resolution of the Cambodian conflict.
