On the morning of June 20, 1988, Thai Prime Minister Prem Tinsulanon received the Vietnamese Vice-Chairman of the council of Ministers and Foreign Minister Nguyen Co Thach at his office. The Thai Prime Minister valued highly the results of Minister Nguyen Co Thach's trip to Thailand, which he considered an important step in the progress of relations between the two countries.
