|
In 1982, we announced that Vietnamese troops would be withdrawn in the following 5 or 10 years. But in 1985, we analysed the new situation and concluded that the withdrawal would be carried out by 1990. The situation improved further in 1988, and that made it possible for 50,000 Vietnamese soldier to be withdrawn.
