In his speech on being elected Premier of Vietnam on June 23, Do Muoi said the Vietnamese government was determined to continue efforts to resolve the economic difficulties suffered by Vietnam. Do Muoi also pledge that he would endeavor to settle the Cambodian problem speedily and improve relations with neighboring countries such as chin and Thailand so as to resolve the present serious economic troubles.
