In the same interview, H.E. Son Sann, said the decided to attend the recent Bogor meeting because many countries, including the ASEAN nations and Vietnam in particular, attend. He said that earlier he refused to attend a meeting with Hun Sen, because he wanted to meet and talk directly to Vietnam on settlement of the Cambodian problem since Vietnam is the aggressor.
