On Sunday, afternoon in Phnom Penh, people flock to Wat Phnom, the pagoda on a small hill which gives the city its name. Children feed fruit to the small monkey in the trees, others pay 10 riels (5p) to ride the elephant round the base of the pagoda. Older people sit in the shade chatting quietly.
