Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of the Vietnamese-backed government in Phnom Penh, is quite confident his army can cope with the Khmer Rouge once Vietnam withdraws its troops and the forces of Pol Pot will never regain power in Cambodia. Hun Sen's People's Republic of Kampuchea (PRK) government was installed by the Vietnamese ofter they invaded the country in 1979 and ousted the Khmer Rouge.
