Summary / Abstract :
|
Seem to me that until Oxfam's recent publicizing of the issue, Kampuchea had largely been forgotten by the media and western governments. The large UN relief operation in 1979, was short-term food aid to relieve famine, and hardly any aid has gone into Kampuchea in the last 8 years, apart from that of a tiny handful of voluntary agencies like Oxfam.
