|
This is what happened to Kampuchea between 1969 and 1979. American bombing and civil war killed or wounded one million people. At last another million died under Pot Pot's ruthless Khmer Rouge Regime. The Khmer Rouge were driven out by Vietnamese soldiers in 1979. Today Kampuchea is coming back to life, but huge problem remain and the people's greatest fear is that the Khmer Rouge will return.
