Em Sreu alias Chhon, who disappeared, male. Meet with Sreng Sran who is 51 years old. She was a younger sister of Chhon. Sreu had a father, named EmSreng and a mother, named Seng Horn. There were 5 siblings. They were living in O Kandal, Prek Krabeou commune, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. While he (Sreu) was a young, he was studying at grade 10 (educated in old system). During he stopped to study, he became a monkhood at Piem Chi Kang pagoda for 3 years and then he left a monkhood. In 1970, he left the monkhood when there was a coup to overthrow Samdach Sihanouk. Meanwhile, he did not jet to join revolution, but he had come helping his parents to doing farm until in 1973. At that time the Lon Nol៌s aircraft always dropped bombs so it made people to suffer. There were some people urged to enter forest as the Khmer Rouge soldier for beating with Lon Nol soldier. In 1973, Sreu joined the revolution with his friends and follow up educated of Khmer Rouge. For the first time, as a Khmer Rouge soldier in Sreval, Chamka Leu district so while that time Sreu came to visit home, so she knew that Sreu was a soldier because of driving military truck. In 1975, it was seen that Sreu revisited home and there was seen to driving a car and had many bodyguards as well. He did not stay for one night that he just relaxed for two or three hours at a short time. He returned to Army Unit in Phnom Penh. Since he left, it was not heard him. He disappeared. According to the background of EmSreu called Chhon, was a soldier at 310 Brigade, the First Company, 314 Battalion. Whereas named Srean, during Khmer Rouge regime, from 1975 to 1979 the Angkar appointed to plant rice plant, build canal, build dike. At 6 am morning, she went to work, at 11 am afternoon, ate rice gruel. There was not enough food to eating and when she ate already, just had a short break and then she started to work as normally until at 6 pm in the evening, so she came back to home to meeting with husband and children at a little time. During Khmer Rouge started from 1977 to 1978, while the Southwest came to take control, it was very difficult and miserable. People were captured and walked to road by Angkar almost every night such as Kang, was a chief of dining hall and Eng, was a chief of district they was captured to walk on the road. They disappeared, especially many Chinese, Muslim and new people were killed by Angkar.
