The Hanoi authorities said recently that if a political solution for the Cambodian problem is reached, Vietnam will withdraw the remaining 50,000 Vietnamese troops from Cambodia. Earlier, they announced that three-fourths of their troops in Cambodia had been withdrawn and that only a quarter, or 50,000 men, of their troops remained in Cambodia.
