Summary / Abstract :

We khmers always appreciate such as Peter Carey's prospects for peace in Cambodia (the s,th column, December 22, 1988). I certainly agree with his main premise that it's time for the Khmer Rouge to disappear. The Sino-Thai attempted policy of sensitization of the Khmer Rouge was neither helpful to the Cambodian people nor good international policy.
