After month of relative inaction Vietnamese forces and PRK units in western Cambodia have mounted a new military offensive against the Khmer Rouge along the Cambodian-Thai border. by hitting hard at suspected Khmer Rouge strongholds and infiltration routes, the forces may be bent on, scoring some battlefield gains Cambodian peace talks in Jakarta later this month.
