Sa Lay, male, disappeared. Interviewed with his 57-year-old elder brother, Sa Lun, who lives Koh Tauch village, Peamchikhang sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province; Lay studied until grade 4 [in the old system] in Peamchikang high school when he was a child. Lay stopped studying when there was an event of 18 March 1970. It was in 1972 that Lay along with many of his friends in the village volunteered to join the Khmer Rouge Movement because Kang Meas district was in the liberated zones. When he first joined the KR Movement, he was a medical staff in Peamchikang sub-district. He was later sent to Kang Meas district hospital, and then to the regional hospital. It was in 1973 that he was promoted to be the medical staff in the northern zone, and he was then sent to the middle zone in Kampong Cham province. When he was in Kampong Cham province, Lay frequently visited home. In 1976, Lay came home again and told that he was a soldier in division 310 in the hospital as a technician. When he went back to Phnom Penh, Lay was disappeared. In 1979, Som Baur working with him during the KR regime told that Lay was arrested and sent to Tuol Sleng Office in 1977. According to his biography, Lay was actually captured by Angkar in 1977 while his elder brother, Lun, during the KR regime was assigned to farm paddy, and he sometimes worked at night. It was very difficult because there wasn't enough food to eat. Even it's very difficult, no one dare compliant because they had seen Khmer Rouge captured people who made small mistakes, especially Cham people [Muslim people] to be killed.
សា ឡាយ ភេទប្រុស បាត់ខ្លួន ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ សា លន់ អាយុ៥៧ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជាបងប្រុស រស់នៅភូមិកោះតូច ឃុំពាមជីកង ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ឡាយ កាលពីតូចនៅសាលាវិទ្យា ល័យពាមជីកងត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី៤ចាស់។ ឡាយ ឈប់រៀននៅពេលកើតមានព្រឹត្ដិការណ៍ ថៃ្ងទី១៨មិនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧០។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចលនាខែ្មរក្រហមជា មួយមិត្ដភក្ដិក្នុងភូមិជាច្រើននាក់ផេ្សងទៀត ព្រោះនៅក្នុងស្រុក កងមាស បានធ្លាក់ក្នុងតំបន់រំដោះ។ ចូលដំបូងធ្វើពេទ្យត្រឹមឃុំពាម ជីកង ក្រោយមកទៀតអង្គការបញ្ជូនទៅពេទ្យស្រុកកងមាស បន្ទាប់មកតំបន់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ឡើងដល់ពេទ្យភូមិភាគឧត្ដរ ក្រោយមកនៅភូមិភាគកណ្ដាលវិញ ក្នុងខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ កាលនោះឃើញឧស្សាហ៍មកលេងផ្ទះ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ មកលេងផ្ទះម្ដងទៀត ហើយបានប្រាប់ថា ធ្វើការនៅភ្នំពេញ ជាយោធាកងពល៣១០ ផ្នែកមន្ទីរពេទ្យខាងបចេ្ចកទេស។ ពេលត្រឡប់ទៅភ្នំពេញវិញបាត់ដំណឹងរហូត។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ មាន ឈ្មោះ សំបូរ អ្នកធ្វើការងារគ្នាជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមមកប្រាប់ថា ឡាយ ត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួននៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ យកទៅដាក់គុកទួល សែ្លង។ បើតាមប្រវត្ដិរូបឈ្មោះ ឡាយ អង្គការចាប់ខ្លួន នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ពិតមែន។ រីឯ ឈ្មោះ លន់ ត្រូវជាបងប្រុស ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ដល់៧៩ អង្គការឱ្យធ្វើស្រែ ជួនការធ្វើការទាំងយប់ថែមទៀត ហើយរបបហូបចុកមិនបានគ្រប់ គ្រាន់ទេ វេទនាណាស់ ហូបបបរលាតពោត វាល់ចែកគ្នា ទោះ
