Singapore (AFP), Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, expects a "trial of strength" between Phnom Penh forces and their guerrilla opponents for the next six to nine months, but says elections could halt the KR. In an interview with the British Broadcasting corporation, Lee said the warring Cambodia factions signaled their intentions when they failed to reach an agreement on power sharing at an international conference in Paris.
