Boeung Trakuen, Cambodia (AP), two Vietnameses deserters said yesterday that thousands of Vietnameses soldiers are in Cambodia bolstering Government forces besieged by guerrillas in the Northwestern provinces. Interviews with the deserters added to mounting evidence that Vietnamese troops secretary stayed behind or returned after Vietnam announced the withdrawal of its last troops in late September.
