Yy Sarakk, led by San That, joined the Youth Party to oppose the Indochinese Communist. Sarakk took charge of convincing people to disgust the communism. When Khmer Rouge took over the power in Khmer Embassy in Thailand, San That advised Sarakk to set up the army in order to liberate the country.
យី សារ៉ាក់ បានចូលអង្គការគណៈបក្ខយុវជន ប្រឆាំងកុម្មុនិស្ដណ្ឌូចិន ដែល សន ថាត ជាប្រធាន។ សារាក់មានភារកិច្ចឃោសនាអប់រំ យុវជន ប្រជាជន ឱ្យស្អប់លទ្ធិកុម្មុយនិស្ដ។ សន ថាត បានណែនាំ សារ៉ាក់ ឱ្យទៅជួបគាត់«សន ថាត» នៅពេលខ្មែរក្រហមវាយយក អំណាចបានទាំងស្រុង នៅទូតខ្មែរក្នុងស្រុកសៀម ដើម្បីរៀបចំទ័ព រំដោះខ្មែរវិញ។
