On May 15th 1990 Samdech Norodom Sihanouk, president of Cambodia, issued a statement denouncing and condemning the Hanoi authorities who slandered the Samdach on Hanoi radio on May 14th because they were angry at the Samdech's refusal to meet their puppet, Hun Sen.
